I Used to Know You

When you love someone, you know them inside and out. This story takes on the persona of what happens after the love is gone.

In these few paragraphs, I focus on talking through the perspective of someone that had love, but their heart is now broken. They talk about somebody they used to love very much, becoming a stranger in almost an instant. What would it be like if the pair were still together? She ponders.

This story about a lost love that was published in Z Publishing House’s “Connecticut’s Emerging Writers Anthology 2018.”
