Skits

Dooby Scoo, Where You At?

This sketch segment is a spoof of a classic “Scooby Doo” episode that contains the usual Scooby shenanigans, but with a new twist.

Follow the gang as they uncover the mystery that lies on the Quinnipiac University campus. Will they figure out who the monster is?

Key roles: wrote with my writing team, director, co-DP, casted, editor, all with my co-producer, Americo DiFronzo.

DreiBlades

You’ve heard of BeyBlades… What if you played the game BeyBlades, but with dreidels? In this sketch segment, you will find out what it takes to beat the champion dreiblader.

Key role: I wrote the script with my fellow writing team.

One Special Delivery

If you go to my writing section, under “playwriting,” you will find the play titled “Special Delivery.” This short skit is a spoof of which the actors wonder what would’ve happened if the kidnapping went… sexual… and spin the script in a way the director and writer did not intend.

Key roles: whole sketch written by me, with one special guest appearance.

The Student Athletes Club

What do you do when you get a Saturday detention? You honor the 80s and band together as a group of athletic jocks. In our own personal take on The Breakfast Club, we spoof what detention would be like if it was filled with student athletes!

Key roles: I wrote the script with my fellow writers, DP, producer, director, editor.

A Very Italian Thanksgiving

We all know that Thanksgiving is a time where we gather with family members we love, and those we tolerate. Try attending an Italian version of this setting, where you are the outsider.

Key roles: I wrote this segment with a few other writers, and assisted on the shoot.

Date with an FBI Agent

Imagine going on a blind date with someone who already knows so much about you? In this sketch, the idea of having someone watch you through your computer’s camera is taken to the next level.

Key roles: I wrote with the writing team, directed, DP’d, produced, and edited this segment.

The Big Event Trailer

At Quinnipiac, the students and faculty participate in a “day of service,” known as the Big Event. The staff and students are broken up into teams by Greek organizations, clubs, and friend groups. They are then sent around Hamden, CT to give back to the town the university is located in.

We thought it would be a fun idea to poke fun at the name, the Big Event, as it gives no hint as to what goes on during said event. Check it out…

Key roles: wrote with the writing team, produced, DP’d, directed, and edited the segment.
